SOME SMALL CEMETERIES

Town of Columbia

Herkimer County, NY

1/15/00  Edick Cemetery was contributed by Willis Rankins, who lives next door to it. "This cemetery borders our property and is in terrible shape. There once was a nice iron fence around it, but over the years trees have fell on it and cows have been in it. Stones are toppled over and covered up. It is too bad that our old cemeteries have come to this. It would seem as though the towns would appropiate some funds to keep these in good condition."
