Closing Ceremonies


At 6:30 P.M. a banquet was held in the Newport Masonic Temple and served by Masonic Brethren. The banquet was co-sponsored by the Methodist and Baptist Churches. The menu consisted of tomato juice cocktail, Indian Summer Salad, rolls, assorted relish dish, roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered beets, ice cream, cookies, coffee and tea, mints and nuts. Piano selections were performed in the Temple by James Autenrith.
