Erwin E. Kelley
Erwin E. Kelley, Republican, who represents the county of Herkimer in the Assembly, was born at
Salisbury in Herkimer county on February 3, 1862, and was educated at the Fairfield Academy, at Utica
Business College, at the University of the City of New York, and finally at Hahnemann College and Hospital
in Chicago. Dr. Kelley then entered upon the practice of his profession as a physician at Gray, in Herkimer county.
Dr. Kelley has served five years in the Board of Supervisors of Herkimer county and is a Supervisor at present.
At the election of 1898, Dr. Kelley had 6,526 votes; Frank P. Addy, Democrat, 5,642.
In the Assembly of 1899, Mr. Kelley was a member of the following committees: Canals, Public Health,
and Fisheries and Game.
