JOHN O. PICKERT

Civil War Veteran

Who Rests In

DIBBLE CEMETERY

Salisbury, NY

I found a listing for John O. Pickert who is buried Dibble-Tuttle Cemetery in Salisbury, NY but he is not listed on your Civil War Soldiers page for that cemetery. He served in Co. H, 121 NY Infantry. I have his pension records as the source of this information. I am researching the Pickert family for my cousin which is how I discovered John O. (he is her paternal great-grandfather). Please feel free to add my e-mail address for anyone who is looking into this family. I believe I have them linked back to a Revolutionary War Veteran, Bartholomew Pickert, who is buried in the Old Yellow Church Cemetery in Manheim. I am also attaching a photo of the cemetery sign. If you look at the tall monuments to the right and behind the sign you will see a tree in the background which is near where John's grave is located.
