BRAZIE, Mary, D. 6-2-1845, Wf. #1, Hus. David BRAZIE, Sophia, D. 12-16-1854, Wf. #2, Hus. David BRAZIE, Olive, D. 11-18-1858, 10mo, dau of Sophia & David Mary (Woolner) Brazie is my 2nd Great Grandmother. My wife and I visited the Frankfort Cemetery in 2003, unearthed the stones for Mary, Sophia, and Olive, and tidied them up as best we could. The only part of the headstone that was exposed on first look was "NIEL BRA", and my wife commented that that was a really strange name. I should like to submit corrections so that the record will read: BRAZIE, Mary, D. 6-2-1845, Wf. #1, Hus. Daniel BRAZIE, Sophia, D. 12-16-1854, Wf. #2, Hus. Daniel BRAZIE, Olive, D. 11-18-1858 aged 10 years 8 mos. & 6 days, daughter of Daniel & Sophia Brazie Other readings of this cemetery have called them BRAZIL, instead of BRAZIE. I've attached photos of the headstones so you can see for yourself. Olive's is a bit hard to decipher, but if you look at it long enough the 8 and 6 become visable. I'm curious. There's nothing on Mary's or Sopia's headstone to signify (correctly) that they are Daniel's 1st and 2nd wives, so there must have been more cemetery records somewhere else at one time.
That's all... Thanks for the fantastic web site.
