This election district was particularly difficult to read! There are likely many errors in spelling due to several reasons: 1) original is very light and hard to make out up and down strokes in particular; 2) enumerator had poor spelling for the less common first names, let alone last names; 3) enumerator had very poor / difficult to read handwriting, in particular the numbers "6" and "0" were nearly indestinquishable, as were the letters "a" and "o"; 4) to complicate it further the enumerator wrote some first letters of names with lower case and others with uppercase!; 5) many of the Italian names were obviously spelled phonetically, along with the other problems, this just made it even more difficult to read!
I have done the best I can to decifer this election district, but I can't say I'm all too pleased with the results (too many that still have "?" next to their names). Please rent the microfilm through LDS for best accuracy!
I have transcribed as closely as I could to the enumerators spelling, not what I think might be the correct spelling!
