A Family Bible of the Van Deusens, Edicks & Getmans
Families of Mohawk, Columbia, and Dennison Corners
"This Bible is from my great grandmother's - Meda Getman's - aunt. The aunt was
86 years old when she died in 1951, born 1865. The pages are very brittle and the ink has spots in places. The front inside
empty page has "C Vandusen Bible" reading written in old handwriting with a fountain pen. The first line entry is "Marriage -
Cornelius Van Deusen to Mary Ann Young January 31, 1850 by Rev. M.C. Brown." This family grew up in Mohawk, Columbia, and
Dennison Corners area."
