1877 Proof of Will of Maxson L. Kinyon
Little Falls, New YorkContributed by Ron Reid From Surrogate Court Records, Herkimer County, NY 04405 To Amos H. Prescott, Surrogate of Herkimer County: The Petition of Mary E. Kenyon of the town of
Little Falls in the county of Herkimer, State of New York, respectfully
showeth: That lately, and on or about the 22nd day of April A.D., 1877 Maxon L.
Kenyon departed this life at his late residence in the town of Little Falls in the county of
Herkimer, being at the time of his death an inhabitant of the said county of Herkimer; that the said Maxon L. Kinyon
deceased, left a certain instrument in writing, purporting to be a last
Will and Testament, bearing date upon the 13th day of June in the
year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and Seventy four which relates to
Real and personal estate, and in said instrument your petitioner is named the
Executrix. And which instrument your petitioner verily believes to be the last Will and Testament of the said
Maxon L. Kinyon deceased; that the said Maxon L. Kinyon died leaving the
following persons surviving, to wit: his widow your petitioner Children of said deceased. That the aforesaid Minor children each reside with your petitioner…………………………………………………………………………………… And who are all and the only heirs at law and next of kin to said deceased. Your petitioner therefore prays that a citation may issue to the heirs at law and next of kin to the said deceased, requiring them to appear before the said Surrogate, at his office in the villageof Herkimer, in the county of Herkimer aforesaid, on the 23rd day of May A.D. 1877, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon of that day, to attend the probate of the said last Will and Testament of the said Maxon L. Kenyon deceased, and that the said Will may be proved and recorded as a Will relating to Real/personal estate, according to the forms of the statutes of the State of New York in such case made and provided, and your petitioner will ever pray, &c.
