The small un-named cemetery located near the village of Middleville was contributed by Betsy Voorhees.
The photo was taken in the summer of 2008 by Al White, while on a genealogy trip to Herkimer County!
"Here is a photo of the small, old cemetery about one half mile from the center of Middleville on the right side. It is very well maintained but no identifying sign. I found another g---grandfather, Benoni Ford here."
There are many cemeteries in the Town of Fairfield, large and small, visited and abandoned. Lists appearing here are not inclusive, but the best lists available at this time, compiled from various sources with the information taken at different tmes. Some of the cemeteries are inaccessible in 1997. A few of them exist only in memory and on paper, as all stones have vanished.
