My dad left the area of Tully, NY during the WWII and took officer's candidate school where he met my mother. I have cousins still in the area of Tully but do not get there much myself. I received a lot of information related to my family ancestors from your area and am still researching. The information is from Susan R. Perkins, Administrative Director, Herkimer County Historical Society. They sure are doing a fantastic job there. I have been in touch by email with several distant cousins. One who is still in your area, Steven Knight who shares a common ancestor with my line. He and I are second cousins once removed. His grandmother and my great grandmother were sisters. He happened upon a posting I had done on a query board and sent me a message. I was delighted to find someone who shares some of the same ancestors up in NY who was also interested in Genealogy.
