John A. Walrad, 24, killed in Herkimer, lived in Starkville (Stark Town). Survived by father, mother, brother and sister. Was with Mrs Hattie Snyder when trampled by horses.
1900 Stark, Herkimer County census noted family as; William R. (Jul 1852), Ida A. (Jun 1855), John A.(Jun 1876), Laura A. (Jun 1878), William R. (Feb 1883). Ida noted to be the mother of 3 children, with 3 children living.

The young child of Mr and Mrs Newton Weller died in their home in West Ilion. In the 1900 Frankfort, Herkimer County census, the name is spelled Waller. Noted Newton, Florence, Ethan and Alma. Florence, the mother of 2 children, with 2 children living.

Harvey Robbins, resident of Weedsport and 70 years old, born in West Schuyler.
Survived by widow, son James Robbins, daughter Mrs. Ernest Benedict, two brothers Orlando and Irving Robbins of West Schuyler.

Albert A. Sterling, 25 years old and born in Schuyler Aug 1879*, brakeman in New York Central RR, killed in collision at Fonda yard. Leaves widow, 3 brothers, 2 sisters.

*Nancy Jane Chittenden, widow of Harlow W. Chittenden whom she married at 17. Was born Oct 25, 1820, a few miles from the Village of Herkimer. Nancy died at the home of her daughter Helen. Her father was Lodovic Williams. She is survived by two children, Mrs. Helen M. (John S.) Clark and Mrs. Theodore Vorhees.
* In the 1900 census it stated that Nancy was the mother of 3 children, with 2 children living.

Mrs. W.D. Stevens of Herkimer, struck and killed by train in Utica.

Miss May Walrath, died in Rochester. Her remains were taken to the residence of her brother E.M. Walrath, at Little Falls. Other survivors include: John Walrath, Mrs Mett Sharp, Mrs. J.T. Leigh.

Reed Brockway, age 82 of Frankfort, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. George Miller in Utica. Wife Lydia died last year. In addition to Mrs. George Miller, survived by Mrs. E.B. Valentine of Schuyler, Wallace R. of Frankfort, Frank of Herkimer and Anna of Utica.

Reed Brockway
Yesterday Reed Brockway died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Miller, 401 Jay street. He was born on Frankfort Hill and would have been 82 years old had he lived until February 27 [or 21?]. He followed a vocation of a farmer through life until he was forced to retire on account of infirmity. He was married 60 years ago last July. His wife died January 20, 1906. Mr. Brockway came to this city a year ago, residing with his daughter. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Schuyler. In politics he was he was a staunch Democrat.
He is survived by five children, Mrs. George Miller of Utica, Mrs. E. V. Valentine of Schuyler, Wallace R. of Frankfort, and Anna of Utica. One brother, Newell of Jamestown, and one sister, Mrs. Abbie Osterhout of Ilion. Besides these he leaves 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

David Barger, 87 dies in Herkimer, formerly of Columbia, at home of daughter Mrs. Henry Edick. Wife died 3 years ago, 5 sons and 3 daughters survive.
